Brittany Tackett

Lewis-Clark State basketball

Tackett, a 6-foot junior forward from Coeur d’Alene High, finished 9-for-9 for the field for a game-high 22 points for the Warriors in a 68-46 win against Montana Tech on Dec. 31 at the Activity Center in Lewiston. She also had six rebounds, two assists, two blocks and a steal for Lewis-Clark State (15-0, 3-0 Frontier Conference). “She was good,” Lewis-Clark State coach Brian Orr said. “For a player to go 9-for-9, that is huge. The thing about her is that she’s such a hard matchup for other teams because of her athleticism. What we tried to do is get her the ball away from the basket and have her attack. She did a super job once she got it. The way she can go right or left makes her really hard to guard.”

Caelyn Orlandi

Lewis-Clark State basketball

Orlandi, a 5-9 senior guard from Coeur d’Alene High, had 20 points, five assists, three rebounds and two steals in the team’s win against Montana Tech on Dec. 31. Orlandi now has 478 career assists, which places her fifth on the program’s all-time list just six behind Amanda Campbell for fourth on the list.
