Watson, 95

Evelyn Barbara Anna Watson, 95, died on Christmas Day, Sunday, Dec. 25, 2016, at Guardian Angel Homes in Post Falls, Idaho. Born July 21, 1921, in McIntosh, S.D., to Ernest E. and Cora R. (Ten Broek) Brennecke. Evelyn moved with her family to Post Falls at age 13. She attended school until age 17, then married Clifton F. Conn. They had two children; then divorced. On Feb. 2, 1946, Evelyn married Robert W. Watson. They had two children and raised their family on Elm Street in McGuire's. Evelyn and Robert, married 63 years, enjoyed their “golden years” traveling and spending winters in Arizona.

Surviving are her children: Jerald C. Conn, Palmer, Alaska; Marilyn A. Watson, Blackfoot, Idaho; Lester E. (Valerie) Watson, Post Falls; Kathy C. (Donald) LaGasa, Bonney Lake, Wash.; and stepson Robert B. Watson, Central Park, Ore. She is also survived by eight grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and nine great-great-grandchildren. Evelyn was preceded in death by her husband; parents; and brothers Elmer and Otto Brennecke.

A graveside memorial service and celebration of life will be held on Saturday, June 24, 2017, with announcement to be published in the spring. The family thanks the staff of Guardian Angel Homes and Hospice for the excellent care given to their mother/grandmother.
