SCHOOLS: Bond specifics wanted

A recent letter to the editor indicated the $35,000,000 bond for which the school district is seeking approval does not contain any detail. I went to the district’s website and there was no information there. Its contact telephone number turned out to be a fax number.

Taxpayers, at least, are interested in how their money is spent. The issue is not whether the bond will raise taxes. The issue is whether taxpayers should reject unnecessary spending which prevents tax reduction.
