CATS: What about abortion?
Anyone who would treat a cat as you have detailed has an obvious psychologic problem. Reminds me of the kid I grew up with who enjoyed tying two cat tails together and putting them over a clothline. Yet, he got over his sadistic trends and eventually became a responsible adult. We can hope for the same for whoever is responsible in this instance.
Still, it is heartening to see so much sympathy for the cat. I am sure that something like that affects all of us.
Then, again, I wonder why we can show so much concern for a cat, which has no soul, and whose only purpose in life is to provide some company for we humans. Can we show as much concern for the millions of children who have been murdered before birth in abortion? Maybe we kid ourselves into believing that they are not really human.
Reminds me of what happened in Germany. Maybe most of the people did not know what was happening with the Jews, but some knew and made light of it convincing themselves that Jews were not really people like they were.
Abortion is worse than the German Holocost. We could stop it in a heartbeat if we had the will, but it is lacking. Shame on us.
