RED LIGHTS: Simple suggestions

This is in response to the red light runner problem here in our city and elsewhere. Start with the lights and get them synchronized. Do not let traffic get backed up; keep it moving, not backed up, burning good fuel.
Why not park empty police, sheriff’s and ISP cruisers at intersections at different times with their strobe lights on, but unmanned? Could beat different times. It works in other cities. Would you run a red light in front of officers?
Next, lower the speed limit. What is a life worth? We have already lost one.
Let’s all do something about this. How about a town hall meeting?
