George Miles White, 87

George Miles White, 87, passed away Wednesday, Feb. 15, 2017, at his home in Meridian, Idaho, of natural causes. George was born July 18, 1929, in Twin Falls, Idaho, to George Miles White of Twin Bridges, Mont., and Chrystol Elizabeth Gingrich of Fulton, Mo.

George married Audrey I. Carlton on July 15, 1950, in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho. They were married for 61 years and had four children: Katherine M. White of Portland, Ore., Jean Van Bockel of Boise, Idaho, Robert M. White of Guemes Island, Wash., and Elizabeth A. Jones of Twin Lakes, Idaho; nine grandchildren; two step-grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

George and Audrey will be interred on Guemes Island and a celebration of life will be held later this spring.
