IMMIGRATION: Proposed solution

America is crowded.

The vast wilderness is gone. Plowed under for farm lands, filled up with sprawling cities, and covered over with highways; there is no room for more. And yet the immigrants keep coming.

Millions come here every year, a mere handful comes here legally, with a due respect for our laws. Most come illegally. Scornful of our traditions, they seek only better jobs.

All of the world cannot move here and we can not tolerate the throngs. Instead we should be bold and take America to the world! Let liberty spread her loving arms and welcome all to her embrace. There is room yet in the constellations for a vast multitude of stars.

Let us take the cherished ideals of democracy and equality for all and share them with the world. And, after we have liberated America from just one spot of land, then stand back and watch the hybrid cultures grow! Let the seeds of a great nation take root and blossom full, to produce abundant harvests of freedom and prosperity, to feed a hungry world.
