Coeur d’Alene Sting Timbers FC 03 boys red: The Sting Timbers kicked off their spring season in Sedro Wooley, Wash., where they lost 3-0 to LTFC Guerros on Saturday.

On Sunday, they lost 4-3 to Pumas UNAM in Renton, Wash. Two goals were scored by Cooper Proctor and Walker Jump scored one goal. Chris Swider assisted all three goals.

Sting Timbers U17 boys: On Feb. 4 at the Washington Cup the Sting Timbers beat the Issaquah Gunners 7-0. Spencer Messina scored a hat trick and Keaton Murphree, Mac Stultz, Max Bennett and Elijah Manuel all scored once. Shawn McKeeken and McCoy Patton teamed in goal for the shutout.

On Feb. 5 the Sting Timbers blanked the SGEO Fusion 9-0. Mac Stultz had a hat trick, Spencer Messina scored twice, and Dakota Curtis, Max Bennett, JR Rayborn and Dempsey Brewer each scored once. Shawn McKeeken and McCoy Patton teamed for the shutout in goal.

The Sting Timbers boys will head back to Seattle to play for the championship on Feb 26.

Sting Timbers FC 02 girls: The Sting Timbers lost to RSA Elite-Ramirez 1-0 last Saturday. They played Highline Premier FC Eagles on Sunday and lost 6-2. Sting goals were scored by Geneva Bengtson and Elizabeth Scarlett, with assists from Madyson Smith (corner kick) and Geneva Bengtson.
