Newly called missionary

Cassie Lynette Torgerson, 19, of Post Falls, was recently called to serve an 18-month mission to the Nevada Las Vegas Mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She is the daughter of Tara and Scott Torgerson of Post Falls.

This particular mission will be Spanish speaking and she will learn to speak the language at the Missionary Training Center in Provo, Utah, prior to arriving in Las Vegas.

Cassie graduated from Post Falls High School in 2016. She worked at The Grill From Ipanema and plans to attend college after serving her mission.
