POEM: Love, not hate

There is a place upon the earth

For everyone, it starts at birth

To be taught from childhood past

That love, not hate is what will last.

If only we could search our heart

By being kind, and do our part,

Show a smile and helping hand

For any one, for any man.

Listen not to those who would

Have you do what is not good.

Trust in faith no compromise,

Look at things with open eyes.

Study all that you can learn

So when it’s time to take your turn

Doing life as life should be

You’ll know the feeling to be free.

Hurt not your friends, your child, your mate,

Enjoy life, my friend, with

Love Not Hate.
