TRUMP: You can have him
In 1980, I took an oath to serve my country. Nothing, and I mean nothing, was ever so precious to me.
I am an American. Being an American means more to me than anything else. I am also a Jewish woman, why should this be accountable? I was born at the end of the 1950s. The stench of the fires of Auschwitz was still in our nostrils. WE Hated Nazis. Of course we did. I remember some of my teachers telling me about fleeing from the Nazis. I had a teacher who fought with the Palmach. Teachers who knew Ben-Gurion and other heroes who are now just dust. I met Ellie Wiesel once. A man who had survived the holocaust. What an honor it was to meet him and to speak with him.
Now we have a president called Donald Trump. A dirty piece of slime. This piece of dog dirt is our so-called president? I will never salute him.
