Coeur d’Alene High product James

signs with Buffalo Bills

Josh James, a 6-foot-5, 314 pound offensive tackle from Coeur d’Alene and Carroll College, was signed to the Buffalo Bills practice squad on Wednesday, his agent Derrick Fox said.

James, a 2011 graduate of Coeur d’Alene High, was signed by the Green Bay Packers following the 2016 NFL Draft, but was released in August. He spent the 2017 preseason with the Kansas City Chiefs before being released in September. James had been a free agent before signing with Buffalo and will be with the team for the remainder of the season. Following the season, the team plans to sign James to a futures contract, where he’ll join the Bills for OTA’s and training camp next summer.
