THIEF: Darkening some joy

Yes, Virginia, there is a Grinch.

He came slinking into my neighborhood last Dec. 7 and within one hour of my Christmas lights coming on for the evening he had denuded my evergreen bush of five sets of net lights. I guess I should be glad he left the bush.

It does put a temporary damper on the Christmas spirit as who comes into a 55-plus community and steals someone’s decorations?

I guess he needs them more than I do, so he’s welcome to them.
