BROOKS: In our corner

Bill Brooks’ column in the Coeur d’Alene Press is the first thing my friends and I read every time he is featured. It is incomprehensible to me to think that this caring, selfless man should not be getting paid for all of the long hours he puts in daily, just so that he can help his fellow man.

I know firsthand that he takes phone calls all day and long into the night. All just to help us avoid the ruthless crooks and con men who prey on us daily. It is a comfort to know that he is there if we need him.

This man deserves far more recognition than he presently receives for all of the timely/sage advice he offers in avoiding the many pitfalls from the constant onslaught of criminals trying to separate us from our hard-earned money — on a daily basis.
