BUSINESSES: Thanks for donations

The League of Women Voters of Kootenai County would like to thank community businesses for their donations of prizes in support of the essay contest titled “Electing the President: Electoral College vs. National Popular Vote.” Kootenai County senior high school students were invited to participate.

Thank you to each of the following sponsors for granting prizes:

- The League of Women Voters of Kootenai County awarded $100.

- Super 1 Foods donated a certificate of $25.

- Two employees of Ironwood Starbucks donated two $20 Starbucks gift cards.

- Postal Annex of Ironwood donated a book of stamps.

- Tim Skelton of State Farm donated three water bottles and a piggy bank.

- Silverlake Automotive donated three oil change service, valued up to $35.

- Sport Clips of Hayden donated six hair product gifts including free MVP Haircut Experience or Upgrade (free haircut for new clients only or upgrade for returning clients, expires on Dec. 19, regular MVP value $25). An additional 50 free haircut coupons will be distributed to entry participants as expiration is soon.

- Kandy’s Boutique donated a Voluspa candle.

- Browsers Uncommon Books donated a book titled “Montana Ghost Stories.”

- Administrative donation of photocopies by Shaun Pedersen at Office Depot/Office Max.
