MUSLIM: 'Tiny minority' myth

Jim Jones' “President's Muslim-bashing hurts American Interests” Op/Ed article (Dec. 8) perpetuates the myth of the Muslim religion as peace loving and tolerant. And wants us to believe only a tiny minority of Muslims is radicalized.

A 2009 poll concluded a majority of the 1.6 billion Muslims worldwide is radicalized in their beliefs. They support Sharia Law and either supported or had mixed feelings about Bin Laden. They also believe ‘honor killings' of women is sometimes justified!

Americans must stop living in denial and stop accepting everything they see and hear on the evening news as fact. We don't hear the whole story… we hear only what is fed to us by mainstream media… liberals who are financially supported by Democrats and their supporters. Just because Obama and other high-profile people (actors, etc.) are seen on the news touting Muslims as peace-loving and perpetuating the “tiny minority” myth, doesn't make it so.
