Havana Johnson

McNeese State soccer

Johnson, a freshman forward from Lake City High playing in her second college game, outran four Louisiana-Monroe defenders to score in the final 36 seconds to send the Cowgirls past the Warhawks 1-0 on Sunday in Lake Charles, La. “Havana getting her first game-winner with 36 seconds left will be a memory she’ll have forever,” McNesse State coach Drew Fitzgerald said. “And we are hoping it’s the first of many.”
