Dan and Tanya Gerken are celebrating their 25th wedding anniversary. They were married Aug. 23, 1992, at the gazebo at Coeur d’Alene City Park.

They celebrated their anniversary on Saturday, Aug. 19, 2017, at the same gazebo.

Geoff Brown

100th Birthday

Geoff Brown, born on July 15, 1917, in Bradford, Yorkshire, in the North of England, celebrated his 100th birthday on July 15, 2017.

After spending a two-week vacation in Coeur d’Alene, he immediately fell in love with the place and moved from New York to a beautiful apartment at the Grove in 2014 that is three minutes away from where his daughter lives, and 15 minutes from where his grandson and two great-grandsons live!

He has many wonderful friends at the Grove who have become his extended family of brothers and sisters. Since God has richly blessed him with good health, he hopes to be able to entertain his family and friends for a few more years with many melodies and tunes that he loves to play on his harmonica.
