Master Hunter Rifle Challenge coming up at Farragut

The Jagermeister Master Hunter Rifle Challenge will take place Sept. 9 at Farragut Public Shooting Range, Perimeter and Rifle Range Road, Athol.

The challenge, hosted by the Idaho Department of Fish and Game and Idaho Friends of the NRA, features reactive, life-size game targets. Set in 10 hunting scenarios, the targets move when hit and are spaced at ranges of 50 to 200 yards.

The competition is open to shooters age 10 and up. The cost is $20 for adults, $10 for shooters under 18.

Pre-registriation deadline: Sept. 6. No walk-ins will be accepted. All participants under 18 should have an adult guardian present during the entire day.
