STATUE: Women, speak out

I am a Catholic, so of course I’m offended by the artist’s portrayal of the Mother of God. So I was wondering, why haven’t all women been offended? From what I’ve read over the years, women want respect. After all, our Mother Mary is a woman.
So can it be that no one looks at how the artist feels about women in general?
Not everyone is a Catholic. But whatever we do believe, don’t you think we deserve respect?
We’re all God’s children with beauty and dignity. No one wants to be made a Halloween figure.
So I’m respectfully asking the art gallery to please put the statue in back.
