Isaac Grasser, 17

Isaac Rock Grasser, 17, died Aug. 4, 2017, at Kootenai Health in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho, after an accidental drowning. Isaac was born in Coeur d’Alene on Nov. 14, 1999, to Rocky and Kathy Grasser.

Saved at an early age and always tender-hearted toward God, Isaac believed the Bible and lived out what it taught. He loved Jesus and his church family. Isaac was a member of the North Idaho Church of God in Hayden. His heart’s desire was for others to come to know the Lord as he did. His testimony remains undeniable. Isaac was always a blessing to his family. Willing to please and amazingly gentle and patient, he was hardworking and a kind son and brother. From an early age, Isaac showed exceptional creativity in drawing and design.

He was part of Classical Conversation School in Sandpoint, Idaho, and wholeheartedly applied himself to his studies. Isaac enjoyed the great outdoors, reading, programming and designing games, composing music, playing strategy games, and food.

He will be greatly missed by his parents, Rocky and Kathy Grasser of Careywood, Idaho; sisters Mandy and Emily Grasser; paternal grandparents Gene and Myrna Grasser of Orofino, Idaho; maternal grandparents Wright and Ruth Ellinger of Brandon, Fla.; and a large extended family. He was greeted in Heaven by his little brother, Michael Grasser.

The Grasser family will receive family and friends during the visitation from 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 9, 2017, at Yates Funeral Home, 744 N. Fourth St., Coeur d’Alene. The funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 10, 2017, at the Hagadone Event Center, 900 S. Floating Green Drive, Coeur d’Alene.
