Devon Johnson

Cd’A Lums 17U

The rising sophomore pitcher/outfielder/second baseman struck out seven and drove in six runs as Coeur d’Alene won the recent Area A tournament, then played a key role last weekend as the Lumbermen won the state title to advance to the Northwest Regional tournament in Eugene, Ore., starting Friday. “Devon has tremendous makeup,” Lums coach Pat Capone said. “What separates him is his ability to make adjustments in game. He’s a special athlete; he’s a swiss Army knife. I can’t say enough good things about him.”
