Notice of Public Hearing Notice is hereby given that the City of Athol, Kootenai County Idaho, will hold a Public Hearing to consider any and all comments on the following: HJ Grathol Annexation, a request by HJ Grathol for initial zoning and annexation of approximately 40.5 acres into the City of Athol, for the purposes of developing a multi parcel, multi-tenant commercial project. The applicants have requested Commercial zoning for the property. The subject property is generally described as Assessor Parcel numbers 53N03W-10-5000 and 53N03W-10-6100, portions of the south half of the southwest quarter of Section 10, Township 53 North, Range 3 West, B.M. The location of the subject property is north of State Highway 54, west of Howard Road, south of the abandoned railroad right of way known as the Farragut Trail, and east of Old Highway 95. The annexation also includes Tax No. 23354, owned by Kootenai County, generally described as an extension of the abandoned railroad right of way known as the Farragut Trail, as well as adjacent road rights of way, in the southwest quarter of Section 10, Township 53 North, Township 3 West, B.M. The Kootenai County property is also being considered for a Commercial zoning designation. In total the annexation of the Grathol and Kootenai County properties is approximately 66.7 acres in size.
