TWETE: A loving endorsement

If you had plowed roads with ice removed and gravel put on them this winter, think about the Highway District workers who made that happen.

On May 16, an important but not well-known election will take place. Two men are running for Lakes Highway District four-year terms.

The incumbent, Rodney Twete, is a man of super integrity. He works hard to guarantee the success of our large district. He chairs several boards. He spends time seeking the best possible solutions to problems. He is not pressured by others to mandate policies that he feels are not in the best interest of our district.

As a past employee of the district, he is very tuned into the needs of the employees. He is fair and very caring about those he works with.

I know this man very well. He has been married to me for more than 40 years. He is honest and very focused on doing the right thing.

Please get out and vote in your usual polling place or go to the election office and vote absentee next month.

This election is important. Please get out and vote!
