PUNISHMENT: Make it hurt

Dear Bruce McDonald: The community is so very saddened and sorry for the beating of your son, Clint. And I am more than outraged with the judicial system that only assessed his attacker, William Robertson Jr., a $300 fine and 10 days in jail (or 40 hours community service). If there ever was a case for “an eye for an eye,” this is it — only lower!
