Every young person should take the initiative in staying informed and aware of current affairs and understand how they affect them.

Reading newspapers is the best way to be aware and increase your knowledge of what’s going on in the world.

I enjoy starting my day with the WSJ in getting an overview of what’s going on in the world and transition into the Business/Investing side nationally to understand better our nation’s standing.

After that I enjoy reading the Seattle Times to focus on what is going on in the Northwest. From there I launch into my local papers such as Spokesman-Review, Coeur d’Alene Press and Columbia Basin Herald.

Starting your day without reading diminishes your awareness and knowledge. It stunts your ability to grow, both in comprehensive understanding and in critical thinking.

Newspapers not only inform but engage us. They play an active role in our community.

Stay healthy and exercise your mind and understanding by picking up the Coeur d’Alene Press: a wealth of information.
