ATHLETE OF THE WEEK: Nate Buer

The Trojans' junior catcher went 6 for 13 in his team's four wins last weekend, with 2 doubles, 2 triples, 3 RBIs and 6 runs scored.

Buer has caught 15 of Post Falls' first 17 games.

"He is a great team leader, great student and great person," Post Falls baseball coach Mick Zeller said. "He is a happy-go-lucky kid who is fun to be around. He has been an ironman for us."
