NOTICE OF SOLE SOURCE PROCUREMENT The City of Rathdrum is seeking to increase water pressure in conjunction with the Majestic Area Water Pressure Improvement Project by installing a variable speed drive booster panel. It is essential that this variable speed drive booster panel, and all accompanying units purchased, be compatible with the work being proposed at the Thayer Well No. 2, and the existing water distribution system being operated by the City. The City of Rathdrum is not required to comply with formal bidding procedures due to the City Council's finding that there is only one vendor reasonably available to perform the work and provide the equipment. Automatic Electrical Systems, Inc. has been servicing the telemetry components, network pumps, motor control centers, and electrical control panels of the City's water distribution system, and therefore is the only vendor whose equipment, components, accessories, and replacement parts will be compatible with the City's existing water distribution system.
