LAWSUITS: Waiting to happen

We’ve all seen the “For Sale” signs on wooden posts placed in yards of homes for sale.

When the home is sold, the post and sign are removed, but the hole is not filled in. These holes can be 8-12 inches deep with grass growing around and camouflaging it. Any person or dog can unknowingly step in it and snap an ankle. There are two such holes on my street and they’ve been that way for months. I called one of the realty companies and they said the homeowner is responsible.

So, homeowners, please check your yard and keep people safe. You may save yourself a lawsuit. Thanks.
