Trystan Micheal Leddy, 20

(1 Corinthians 13:4-7)

(Isaiah 57 1-2): “Good people pass away; the godly often die before there time. But no one seems to care or wonder why. No one seems to understand that God is protecting them from the evil to come. For those who follow godly paths will Rest in peace when they die.”

Trystan Micheal Leddy was born March 6, 1997, in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho, to Stephanie Leddy and Eric Peek. He went into the Lord’s arms at a very young age of 20 on April 6, 2017.

Trystan was a beautiful soul with a smile that brightened every room. His eyes told a story when he talked that had a way of drawing you in. He loved to do things for everyone, and often helped in the community, not just by being there, but by listening with his heart, and giving the shirt off his own back.

Trystan had a fire for life, and often encouraged others to never be afraid of anything. He endured many hardships and struggle through his short life, yet found a way to get through it all on his own. Such a brave young man, and met and was loved by so many on his journeys. We will remember so much from eating his favorite China King with his dad every visit, to listening to music with mom to escape.

He loved hanging out with his sister, Jayden, and was proud to be her older brother so much he tattooed her name on his arm. He loved singing with his brother, Bryce, and making songs together. He was never sure of God’s plan for him, but he loved without selfishness in his heart, and loved without limits. Trystan had his own way of understanding things, which left others questioning their own visions as his were so unique.

There is no easy words for a parent who has to bury their child, and the neverending sorrow it keeps. I will see you my son on my walks everyday and feel you in the breeze, and when I lay my head to rest at night, I will gaze into our moments together. I will hear you in our songs, and talk to you through my everydays. You were my first love, feeling, destination, hope … I love you now and forever. May you finally find the peace you deserve and rest with our Lord. I’ll miss you my Trystan … love, mom.

“I’ll see you someday. Though physically not near, till then my Trystan, I’ll love you from here.”
