EASTER: A poem
You captured me as a beautiful soul,
When society magnified me in my shame,
You propagated hope in my desolate heart,
When the world bombarded me with pain,
You washed me clean with your undying grace,
When life littered my mind with conceding lies,
The world created these heavy tears to cascade,
You came alone and gently wiped my eyes,
You beheld me in the bosom of your soul,
And stowed me in the pocket of your heart,
You began the construction of a strong bond,
One that no devil can ever break apart,
You fertilized my mind with seeds of inspiration,
And from that blossomed a bouquet of sweet thoughts,
That came to nourish those who were hopeless,
And help plant encouragement in their hearts,
You have overflowed the reservoirs to my heart,
And opened the corridors to my thought process,
Helped me see life through a different perspective,
You have made my heart experience your presence,
You have restored true beauty in my heart,
You have refashioned my once empty soul,
You have renewed my mind with knowledge,
I now know it is only with You when I am most whole,
So continue to work in my life oh Lord,
Continue to bring forth new revelations,
Bring into my life those who will help me grow,
Continue to spark in me new bursts of inspirations,
Quiet not in me now oh Love Divine,
But continue to minister to my heart,
Together we shall continue to fortify this bond,
Continue your work and just please don’t depart!
