LETTER: Blasted great man

The Coeur d’Alene Press printed a very troubling, perhaps dangerous, letter on Wednesday, April 4, which maligned Phil Cernera, Lake Management Director for the Coeur d’Alene Tribe.

I have known Phil Cernera for the 25 years he has worked forcefully on the crucial water quality issues of Coeur d‘Alene Lake and its inflowing streams.

In my book Phil is an unsung hero, battling for the health of our treasured lake, at the behest of the Coeur d’Alene Tribe, which has the longest history of diligent water keeping in the state and perhaps the nation.
