WARMING: Not so simple

Global warming is a fact.

1. It’s a natural-occurring cycle that has been going on for millions of years.

2. It has gotten worse because of human activity, primarily, it appears, because of the use of fossil fuels in the past 150 or more years.

OK, environmentalists are opposed to fossil fuels, nuclear power plants and hydro-electric dams. They loudly express their concerns without offering solutions.

Could an airplane fly without fossil fuel? A windmill on top of the airplane? Solar panels?

Could a ship sail without diesel fuel? Yes, with sails from the 18th century.

Environmentalists have gone many miles using gas-guzzling cars to protest against fossil fuels. They travel on asphalt highways made of oil and sand.

Electric cars are environmentally friendly, right? The electricity comes to them from steel towers and steel cables. Steel is made from iron ore and coke (a coal derivative) in ovens heated by natural gas.

The list is endless.

Ultra-liberal airheads live in a fantasy world. Do we have a problem? Yes! Can we fix it? No!
