HONESTY: On proud display

On Monday, I left my handbag in a shopping cart, in the parking lot of the Walmart in Hayden. Because I was putting my groceries away, I didn’t notice for at least an hour that it was missing. After thoroughly checking the house, I reluctantly called Walmart Customer Service. I was afraid that if someone found it, they would consider it their gain. I was wrong! I want to thank that person, and express how deeply touched I was that you put me, an unknown stranger, before any thought of your time and effort, required to return it to Customer Service. Thank you!

As with most material things, everything I would have lost could have been replaced. Your kindness saved me untold hours of time, and a considerable amount of money. Thank you!

I also want to thank the staff at Walmart. They were very considerate and professional.
