TRUMP: Give him time

Regarding John Strobel’s March 28 letter, “The Presidency So Far”:

John says “Repeal and Replace” — GOP not ready to govern. My response: As the old saying goes, “It’s not over till the fat lady sings.” We’re only in the top half of the first inning of a 9-inning game. Hang on!

John says “Ryan’s Express” — Trump/Speaker Ryan try to ram health care down our throats. My response: Do you not remember that OHC was passed in the middle of the night with Pelosi saying, “We need to pass it so we can find out what’s in it.” Yep, we were snookered — big time.

John says “Voodoo economics” — dislikes trickle-down economics. I love it. I think the 95 million folks out of the workforce and 45 million on food stamps after eight Obama years might agree with me.

John proclaims “Russian Gate.” My response: Sorry, but not one shred of hard evidence Trump had anything to do with anything. What we DO know is Obama gave the order for 16 government agencies to share top secret intelligence — 13 days before leaving office! What a guy! (Treason?)

John says “Liar in Chief.” You state President Trump is the chief purveyor of fake news. My take is that to liberals, fake news is anything they don’t agree with. And PLEASE stop using CNN/Time Magazine as reputable sources. THEY’RE fake news on steroids!

John, I would love to comment on the rest of your liberal opinions but I’m only allotted 250 words, dang it!
