Joyce Elaine Bradbury, 86

Joyce was born on April 15, 1930, in Clarkston, Wash., to Lenora and Jesse W. Campbell. She left us on March 30, 2017.

The family moved to Lewiston, Idaho in the 1930s and then to Coeur d'Alene, Idaho in 1960. Joyce lived the rest of her life in Washington and Idaho. She married Edgar Bradbury on Valentine's Day of 1963 and the couple soon moved to the Bradbury homestead near Rathdrum, Idaho. The couple raised three boys there, Randall, Rick and Robert, before moving into the town of Rathdrum in the mid-1990s.

Throughout the 1970s, '80s and '90s, Joyce and Edgar were active in the Masonic activities; Edgar served as Master of the Masonic Lodge of Rathdrum and Joyce as Worthy Matron of the Rathdrum Order of Eastern Star.

Joyce loved reading, fishing for kokanee, gardening, traveling by motorhome and was a terrific cook. She loved spending time with her family and had a wry and robust sense of humor.

She is preceded in death by her parents and brother, Philip Campbell of Lewiston, Idaho, her middle son Rick, and husband Edgar, who passed away two weeks before her on March 12 of this year. She is survived by sons Randall and Robert.

Yates Funeral Home has been entrusted with the care of final arrangements.
