THANKS: Matt’s Place Foundation Pub Crawl a success

Thank you for supporting the second Matt’s Place Foundation Pub Crawl.

Matt Wild is a Coeur d’Alene native and Marine Corps veteran who was diagnosed with ALS in 2015. While the financial impact of this disease for Matt was greatly lessened by the medical benefits provided by the VA, he was alarmed to realize the terrible financial toll ALS can have on people with ALS and their families. Matt and his wife, Theresa, founded Matt’s Place Foundation which is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization created to assist PALS and their families during their battle with ALS.

On March 4, we hosted our 2nd Matt’s Place Foundation Pub Crawl. Our goal was to raise money and create awareness about this disease. We wish to thank the major event sponsor, Coeur d’Alene PAVING and CDA REDI MIX plus all of our amazing sponsors. Thank you to everyone who donated to this event and a special thank you to the Coeur d’Alene Eagles and all 10 pubs plus the Art Spirit Gallery who participated in the pub crawl. The pubs included the Moose, Iron Horse, Rocker Room, Taphouse Unchained, Sweet Lou’s Fined Brew, Beacon, Crickets, 2nd St Cantina and Seasons of Coeur d’Alene. This event would not have been successful without the 500-plus people who came to support Matt and everyone with ALS.
