VOTERS: Do your homework

Before voting in this presidential election I beg all of you that you do the following: 1. Listen carefully to what each candidate says and look carefully at the details of the programs they propose (hopefully in writing or on the Internet). 2. Fact check those statements through reputable, unbiased sources (open your minds, they DO exist). 3. Look at the reasons given by prominent people for supporting a candidate or being adamantly against a candidate, especially those who would normally be expected to support the other candidate. 4. No matter what issues are important to you, please protect our country by considering the overall impact of a candidate before you vote.

It will take some work to do the above, but our country deserves that.
