| September 16, 2016 9:00 PM

Terry Lee Walmer, 72, of Careywood, Idaho, passed away Aug. 19, 2016, at Hospice of North Idaho in Hayden, Idaho. Cause of death was metastatic disease, four years; and breast cancer, seven years.

Terry was born Dec. 11, 1943, in Spokane, Wash., the daughter of Glenn B. Boldan and Mildred (Millie) Gertrude Johnson.

She is survived by her longtime companion, Leonard Bright of 30-1/2 years; her three children, Dan (Leslie) Baldwin of Billings, Mont., Linda Lee (Mark) Oliver of Spokane Valley, Wash., and Kori S. Lockhart of Seymour, Texas; two stepdaughters, Shauna M. Knerr (Marc) of Tampa, Fla., and Lynnette Bright of Spokane; and her brother, Kirby E. (Deb) Boldan of Phoenix, Ariz. She is also survived by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Terry had many friends — young, old and in between. She spent the last 11 years working as a librarian at the Athol library, as well as spending her time at the neighboring libraries anytime she was needed.

We all will forever remember Terry, and her fondness for digging in the dirt, or reading a book, smile and say hello when you see a hummingbird or the prettiest shade of blue, that’s what mom would want you to do.

My brother is her legacy for living, staying strong and keeping it real, in my sister lies mom’s faith, faith in old bearded collies and rainbow bridges when the wind blows, as for myself, mom gave me the ability to laugh.
