HEARN: Dedicated to youth

| September 7, 2016 9:00 PM

I invite residents of Coeur d’Alene to join me to vote for Tom Hearn on Nov. 8. Tom is running for State Legislative District 4, Seat B.

Tom has been a Coeur d’Alene resident for more than 35 years. He has spent his entire professional career helping delinquent youth, protecting children, and working with victims and perpetrators of abuse. He has been serving on the Coeur d’Alene School Board for the past three years.

For the past several months, Tom has been knocking on doors, seeking to know the priorities of Coeur d’Alene residents. I have accompanied Tom several times. I’ve been impressed with Tom’s sincere interest in people’s concerns. Two top priorities that have been voiced are adequate funding for K-12 education and the provision of living wages. These are important priorities for Tom as well.

As a state legislator, Tom’s voting record will be more reflective of our community’s needs than any ideology. Tom will vote for schools, vote for living wages and vote to address the concerns of Coeur d’Alene residents.

A vote for Tom is a vote for Coeur d’Alene.
