ROADS: Good work, PF
The road crews in Post Falls have been busy all summer improving the streets and roads. We put up with a little inconvenience due to road closures and most drivers respectfully slow down for the flaggers, knowing that our roads will be ready for winter. Planning ahead makes good sense, and is a good use of the taxpayers’ dollars.
In Coeur d’Alene, it seems that priorities are much different than in Post Falls. How about improving the roads, especially Seltice? Why not invest in an irrigation system at Northwest Boulevard, which would help all those dying trees and plants near the three sailboats and the park and ride? How about fixing the traffic signal at Seltice/Northwest Boulevard so that more than two vehicles can make a left turn before the light changes? The priorities in Coeur d’Alene seem to be about building MORE and MORE and MORE apartment buildings; expanding and improving the already beautiful McEuen Park; and making more parking lots for all of those tourists.
Anyway, kudos to Post Falls. I’m off to get yet another wheel alignment.
