Cheryl Dotson, 69

Cheryl Dotson, 69, passed away peacefully Aug. 28, 2016, in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho. Cheryl was born June 28, 1947, in Bell, Calif.

Cheryl graduated from Pioneer High School in Whittier, Calif., 1965. Shortly thereafter Cheryl became a licensed beautician. She practiced as a beautician until moving with her family to Idaho in 1981. She then purchased the Sundown Saloon in Coeur d'Alene, which she operated until 1994.

Subsequently Cheryl went into road construction and owned several other small businesses in Idaho.

Cheryl is survived by her two daughters, Machelle Dotson of Hood River, Ore., and Dana Flanigan of Blackwood, N.J.; loving life partner of 23 years, Glen Waddell of Coeur d'Alene; sister, Janice Butler of Lake Almanor, Calif.; three grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

A celebration of life will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 9, 2016,  at the Sundown Saloon. This will be a potluck.
