HARRISON FLATS — Tanner Andersen carried the ball 12 times for 148 yards and two touchdowns for the Kootenai Warriors in a 40-14 win over the Tekoa-Rosalia Timberwolves in the Warriors’ season finale on Thursday.

“It was a sloppy, muddy, mucky game,” Kootenai coach Doug Napierala said. “It was more of a running game, but we got some passes to go. In the second half, we were able to captalize on some good field position. The boys stepped up and played a great game. The field was mostly standing water and mud. Your ideal football slop game.”

Andrew Whipple had 87 yards rushing and a touchdown for Kootenai, which finishes 4-4.

Tekoa-Rosalia is 1-6.
