What in the Wild Wild World of Malfeasance could Jeremy L. Dodge have perpetrated to prompt Portfolio Recovery Associates LLC to seek more than $9 billion in damages ($9,387,028,132.55 to be exact). A Trumpian shortfall by any measure.
This newsworthy item was reported in the Records Section of the Oct. 18 edition of The Press. Parenthetically, you have to admire Portfolio Recovery’s precision in defining the damages down to the last 55 cents. Charitably, I would have rounded to the next lower dollar.
Have to say, nothing tickles me more than a good “typo”… Press on!
