Richard Lee Warner, 18

| October 12, 2016 9:00 PM

Richard Lee Warner was born on Feb. 7, 1998, in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho. He walked into the loving and safe arms of his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, in February 2016.

Richard enjoyed school. He began this journey at Mullan Trail Elementary in Post Falls, Idaho. He moved to the Coeur d’Alene School District when he was in second grade. There, he became a proud Borah Lion. Moving on, Richard became a proud Woodland Grizzly and Lake City T-Wolf.

Richard earned the Presidential Academic Improvement Award in the fifth grade. He participated in district cross country meets and wrestling. When not in school, Richie enjoyed playing Legos, attending Monster Truck Shows and cheering the Baltimore Ravens. He had a fun fascination with John Deere Equipment and loved admiring these big, green machines!

Our Richard displayed a great enthusiasm and love for life along with an innate work ethic. He helped his grandma rake leaves and shovel snow. While attending middle and high school, he was given the opportunity to work with various custodians in his former school buildings. He learned so much and had fun showing off his skills to his former teachers.

Richard touched many hearts during his short stay on Earth. He loved his family completely. With a twinkle in both eyes and his sweet smile, he kept everyone on their toes. Forever remembered, always loved, our Richard.

There will be a memorial service for Richard at 11 a.m. Friday, Oct. 14, 2016, at Christ the King Lutheran Church, 1700 E. Pennsylvania Ave., Coeur d’Alene. There will be a gathering at the church after the service.
