HEARN: 'Beacon of light'

| October 12, 2016 9:00 PM

Tom Hearn, Coeur d’Alene’s State Representative candidate for District 4 has been a “beacon of light and hope” for children, families and the people of Coeur d’Alene and Idaho for more than 35 years, having served on numerous state and local boards to which his appointments were made by Republican and Democratic governors and attorneys general. He has passionately advocated for children, mental health and safer communities. He presently serves on the Coeur d’Alene School District Board of Trustees.

Hearn’s charitable works and direct social services for “we the people” have helped meet some of the immediate needs of many individuals. He listens, builds relationships, problem solves and cares deeply.

Tom Hearn also recognizes that the citizens of Coeur d’Alene deserve better representation in the Legislature. He is well aware of the herd of “elephants in the room.” For this reason, he is determined to advocate for more just and fair state public policies, including proper education funding for our children and their futures, support for our seniors on a fixed income, fixing Idaho’s eroding roads and bridges, reaching across the table to expand Medicaid which positively impacts 78,000 lives. Aren’t we lucky that he will help to protect the tourism businesses and our economy by safeguarding citizens’ access to public lands for hunting, recreation and fishing?

Tom Hearn is a constant “beacon of light and hope” leading the way to a stronger, better and more just Idaho. Join me. Vote ~ Tom Hearn!
