Gary E. Johnson

1942-2016

Gary lost his battle to pancreatic cancer Saturday, Sept. 24, 2016 at Hospice House of North Idaho, with his son by his side. Gary was an avid fisherman, hunter and also had a love for Harleys. He served in the U.S. Army for six years and was stationed in Germany. Gary worked for years at IFI-Stimson lumber where he later retired.

Gary is survived by his son, Allen Johnson of Post Falls; son Rick Johnson of Germany and sister Cherilyn Walters of Hayden, granddaughter Amber Cornell of Rathdrum and grandson Colton Johnson of Post Falls and numerous nieces and nephews. He will be sadly missed.

A celebration of life will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 8, 2016 at Mountain Lakes Bible Church, 2215 N. Seventh St. in Coeur d'Alene.
