PREP BOYS BASKETBALL: High school boys hoop teams tip off seasons tonight

Five local high schools tip off their boys basketball seasons tonight.

Lake City plays host to East Valley, Lakeland is home vs. West Valley, and Timberlake travels to Sandpoint, all at 7 p.m. Kootenai plays host to the Kellogg junior varsity at 6, and Lakeside is home vs. Logos at 7:30.

On Thursday, Coeur d’Alene opens at Shadle Park, Post Falls is home vs. Rogers, and St. Maries plays host to Kootenai, all at 7 p.m.

Coeur d’Alene Charter opens Saturday at Clark Fork at 5:30 p.m.

Genesis Prep is scheduled to open its season Dec. 7 at Timberlake.

St. Maries was originally scheduled to open tonight at Wallace, but that game was rescheduled for Dec. 9.
