ANNIVERSARY
Roger and Pam Havens
30th Anniversary
Roger and Pam Havens, of Rathdrum, were married on Nov. 1, 1986. They met in Everett, Wash., through an early version of online dating, the Dateline section of the local Nickel ads. In those days, when you saw an interesting ad, you mailed your letter to the newspaper who forwarded it to the person. It seems Roger and Pam were meant to be together, as Pam wrote to a man who lived in Alaska, and the paper sent it to Roger (in Everett) instead. They met anyway and the rest is history!
They were married on the 18th anniversary of Pam’s mom, Sherrie Hendricks of Hayden, and stepdad, the late Carl Hendricks. They have two children, Roger Havens and Mary Moses, both of Rathdrum. Roger is a retired drywall contractor and Pam is senior manager of client advocacy at SQM Group. They both love the outdoors and enjoy time spent with their family camping, boating and traveling.
MILITARY
Rebecca Lee graduated from basic military training on July 29, 2016, at Lackland Air Force Base in San Antonio, Texas. She graduated as an Airman First Class.
Lee joined the Air Force in May 2016. She is now at Fort Sam Houston in San Antonio until the end of November. She will be serving the next three years at Elmendorf AFB in Anchorage, Alaska.
She graduated from Post Falls High School in 2015.
