Police in Coeur d'Alene are searching for a suspect involved a short time ago in what police are calling an armed assault.
A victim was pepper-sprayed near the intersection of D and Virginia Streets by a man who was carrying a shotgun and believed to possibly be carrying a handgun also.
The suspect is believed to be in a tan 1988 Cadillac with Washington plates. A female may be driving.
The shotgun was recovered by police at the scene, but the suspect may still be armed.
